D.L. Lang is a force that has inspired many. Her collection of published books has grown so large that we can’t list them all. She’s made herself an available resource on how to publish a book. When she served as Poet Laureate for the city of Vallejo, CA she expanded her reach while continuing to help others by putting together an anthology of poems from other authors. Jeffrey has been a longtime writer and an inspiration for our community. His words span across several genres of writing which luckily encompasses poetry. Patricia Herron

Herron is a poet, writer, educator, and gardener living in the North Bay Area of California. She is interested in issues of sustainability and diversity. She teaches and writes about China, Chinese culture, and Confucianism and Daoism and their relevance to today's culture.

Cynaka Harper

Cynaka, who we know mostly by her stage name GO284, has been blazing the microphone at Poetry By The Bay for over a decade. Her blunt honesty and storytelling style has inspired many over the years. Check out her work here.

Jacalyn Eyvonne

Jacalyn is the current Co-Poet Laurette of Vallejo, CA. She is a graduate of the Academy of Art University in Motion Picture and Television, Jacalyn is an independent filmmaker dabbling in bringing some of her own short stories to visual life. While some of her story sojourns are splattered in the macabre, many are not. She writes, directs, produces, and has a hungering sweet tooth for both the poetic and eerie.”
